SEO Secrets Part #2

Search engine optimization is a class of interrelated techniques that serve to increase the
positioning of a web site in the search results of the major internet search engines. Since most
users find the information that they need via the major search engines such as those provided by Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and AOL, the rank of the internet site in the search engine results is a
very important factor in determining how many web surfers will find and view the page.

There are a number of techniques that can be employed when using search engine optimization.
One of the primary ways that web masters use search engine optimization is to increase the
number and placement of key words on the web site that customers are likely to use when
searching for goods and services offered by the web site. Many search engines index a page
based on key word phrases and oftentimes add value if the key word appears within a certain concentration range. The caveat here is that many search engines will lower the web page ranking if the keyword appears too many times since this is perceived as an attempt to fool the search engine.

Keyword search engine optimization uses not only keyword concentration but also keyword placement. Many search engines place higher emphasis on key word phrases that are placed in web page titles and HTML header tags.

Another method of SEO is to increase the number of links to the web site being optimized. Most
search engine companies design their algorithms with the assumption that a page that is highly
linked to is more likely to offer quality content then one that has no links to it. Many web masters took advantage of this assumption by using link exchange programs to increase the number of links to their site. For this reason, many search engines now devalue two way links in favor of one way links. This means that a major goal of modern search engine optimization is the creation and maintenance of one way links.

Since one of the main goals of the search engine optimization specialist is to increase the number
of one way links, a number of methods have been developed to accomplish this goal. One great
way to create one way links is to provide testimonials on web sites. These testimonials will often
feature a link to the testimonial provider's web site.

Another way to create one way links is to make postings on internet message boards and include the web page URL in the signature line. Search engine optimization is a vital component of any internet marketing strategy. By positioning a web page to rank highly in search engine results, it is possible to increase the number of visitors to the web site.

SEO Secrets Part #1

Search engine optimization for your website is pretty straight forward, but it can seem complicated. Basically, the point of SEO is to make everything simpler and cleaner. This is the way search engines like it. And, if you use the "KISS" principle, "keep it simple, stupid", even abeginner can optimize a website well.

Everything a search engine does have a pattern and a reason. Even if the algorithms are too complex for you to understand, there are patterns that can be found. There are many sites onlinethat offer tips and help with finding and explaining these patterns.
Good SEO requires work and effort. It is, for the most part, very basic. To have a successful website campaign, follow these simple rules:

1. Bad Sites Get Pushed To the Bottom
Search engines always try to give users whatever they can find that is relevant to their search. You have to realize that most search engines don't work by moving the good stuff towards the top: instead, they try to push the bad stuff towards the bottom, and hope that what's good will "float to the top."

2. Content Is King
Content is king and it can get you good search engine rankings easily if it's written properly and sprinkled with the appropriate keywords. This not only brings visitors to your site but also feeds search engine spiders and crawlers. A fast way to develop good content is to generate a series of articles or an ebook regarding your topic. These items are very powerful in the world ofSEO because they provide your visitors with something to read and they allow you to conquer some keywords that you normally wouldn't be able to touch. If you are managing a website for pets, an article about dog food is more likely to generate a high position in the search results for "dog food" than your home page. Therefore, if you write articles pertaining to your subject but slightly more in depth than you can put on your home page, you will benefit drastically.

3. Check Your Position
To try to get to number one in an index, you must first find out where your site is now. That means checking each search engine to see your position, and coming up with a strategy for each one - who knows; maybe you're already number one on one of the smaller search engines! Youcan't just assume, however, that because your site is listed in one search engine that it will be listed in all of them. That's not how search engines work.

4. Simplicity Is Best
Look at the sites that currently rank high on the search engines and you will see that have simple designs with graphics that use minimal bandwidth, and they're easy to navigate. Simple, clean designs are what both search engine crawlers and search engine users like, as it lets them get the content they want without any fuss. This is what you should be aiming for.

5. Optimize Tags and Keywords
Let's take a look at meta tags, keywords, descriptions, and titles. They're all important elements, even if they're not what will make or break your site - they're just one part of your strategy.

These elements need to be compelling and sprinkled with your keywords, as this will entice users to click through from the search results page to your website. It's best to start off slowly, gradually adding things in as you learn. If you have any questions and you don't know where to go, and then check out some of the forums on the subject. A simple search for "seo forum" will give great results. Remember, be patient. Learning SEO or search engine optimization takes time and effort but pays off in theend.

How do I cash in on my Traffic?

We have got to admit to ourselves. Most of us are into it for the money. We are not going to waste our time and effort just for the fun of it. Many sites would not wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits. While there are some who takes things lightly there are always those who would rather see profit any given day. It is common knowledge that without traffic we have no business.

Like any business, without any customers you don’t get sales. Traffic represents all the people that gets a chance to see what you have to offer. The more people who see your products the more people there would be to buy them. Nobody puts up an E-commerce site that doesn’t expect profit. We have a startup capital that needs to be regained. With a consistent traffic, we at least have a fighting chance to achieve that probability.

Monetizing your traffic would optimize your chances of making the best out of it.
The best and most proven method of making a profit out of your traffic is using advertising. The internet generates hundreds of thousands upon hundreds of thousands of traffic every day. Most of them are searching for something. While some are just looking for information there is also a good percentage that is looking for something that they need.

The internet has proven to be a very reliable source in finding what was deemed to be a very unsearchable product. The internet has made the world a smaller place; you can advertise a product from the depths of Istanbul and still find a buyer from the center of Philadelphia.
Generating traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a great number of sites to generate a good number of traffic flow. But if done successfully this could open up a Pandoras Box of possibilities. One of the benefits is monetizing your traffic flow.

So, to get to the core of it the more traffic you generate the more likely you are considered as a desirable, desirable, in a sense that a good traffic flowing site is easily convertible to profit. Basically traffic equals profit.

Advertising is the name of the game; with the good advertising scheme you can use your traffic flow to your advantage. When you have good traffic you have a good number of potential customers, customers that are willing to pour money into your coffers. Other than
that these are also traffic that can be redirected to sponsored links that are willing to pay you for a sizeable portion of the traffic that you have generated. This scheme is called pay-per-click. With every click a visitor of your site makes on an advertised link you will be paid. The more traffic you generate and the more clicks that happens would spell to more profits.

Affiliate Programs:

Another method of monetizing your traffic are affiliate programs. You can link up with other tried and tested sites and online companies and monetize your traffic by having a percentage of sales generated by traffic coming from your site. The basic idea is, traffic generated from your site will go to another site that can offer a product that you do not carry. Many programs can keep track and make records of transactions that was made possible because of site linkage.
When purchases are made by customers that was led by your site to their site you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate programs would give you the benefit of monetizing your traffic without the actual need of carrying or promoting a certain product.

There are so many ways and methods to monetize your traffic. All it takes is a bit of hard work and the desire to successfully launch a profit-earning site. The internet is a veritable source of information, many tips and guides are offered everywhere in how to monetize your traffic and make your site a good profit earner.

Why Do People Fail In Home Business?

It is a question being asked every day, with the advent of internet marketing. It is quite easy for anyone with a computer and internet connection to get
into business. There are plenty of opportunities out there to get set up in business.
Unfortunately, set up is the dominant theme here and not business. Just because you are in business, does not mean you know how to operate a
business. And the most important question everyone should ask themselves is how will I get customers?

Do you know anything about selling? Do you know how to run a home based business? What about marketing, advertising or recruiting. The picture is painted all
so rosy for you by the MLM gurus that anyone can just put up a website and make money. It just isn't true. You have to have a lot of knowledge and a lot of persistence to succeed in business. It may be harder to succeed in business on the
internet than in the brick and mortar world, if the truth were known. However it is not impossible for the little guy to make it, but people certainly deserve to know the facts before they jump in. I just want you to keep your eyes open and do not be afraid to ask questions. Most of the junk you see disguised as a business opportunity is just plain fraud and lies.

So how do you work around all that? By being very skeptical and asking a lot of questions. The people, who are afraid of your questions, usually have something to hide or they just don't have any answers. From these people you should certainly run. Click away fast as you can. Why is it that even the good programs don't seem to work for everyone? You are presented with a great product and a good marketing plan, as least on paper, but when you try it no one wants to hear it.

Your friends and family certainly do not welcome your phone calls and emails. They just want to be left alone. They do not share your dreams. So do not try to impose them on them if you want to keep them as friends? Coastal Vacations, PAS and other programs require a large investment of money up front. It is true that these programs have proven to be legitimate, legal and successful for many people. However it is also true that many people fail at these programs too.

Why is that? Well the simple reason is that not everyone knows how to sell, or even where to start. The internet has given us many great tools to give us all an equal chance to easily enter the marketplace and that is a good thing. However it does not guarantee success. Most businesses still end up failing within the first year. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my marketing methods and therefore improve my business.

There are many fine articles and training courses on marketing available. If you are going to try a home based business, you should start with
educating yourself in all areas that you will need.
Don't be duped into thinking it is an easy task, and all you have to do is sign up and all your problems will be solved and you will be making $1000 a
day by next Wednesday.
Please do not fall for that line anymore.

Powerful Fast Acting Network Marketing Steriods...

Why is Network Marketing on steroids? This question is obviously an important question to answer before deciding whether or not to get involved with a network marketing business. The answer of course should grab every serious marketer by the throat… If we rephrased the question as “Could Network Marketing be Addictive” I could easily answer “Absolutely!” and this article would be finished. In order to answer the original question, we will look at how and why network marketing steroids does work and why it does not work for many.

Old Way of Network Marketing

Part of the reason that network marketing has such a bad reputation is because of the way it used to be done. Before the internet completely changed the entire process, people would go to big meetings and sit for 2 hours while being sold on what a great product and business this was. Then some of them would join the business and attempt to recruit others by nagging their friends and family until they finally agreed to attend one of the meetings. Then the network marketer would bring his potential recruits to the meeting and sit for 2 more hours watching the same presentation. Often after the presentation, the friends and family members weren’t as excited as they were supposed to be and they ended up not joining right away. They tried to say no politely by saying “I’ll have to give it some thought”. Very few would sign up and the fact is most (60%) of all new Network Marketers would simply drop off after failing to maintain the same type of excitement that they originally felt.

Network Marketing Now!!!

The internet has made it possible to pretty much maintain the same payment structure as the older network marketing programs, but has changed the entire way recruiting is handled. Now, many network marketing companies offer websites that you send your prospective traffic to and after taking a tour of the website, the company uses automated emails to follow up on your behalf. Getting people that are actually interested in your business is now easier than ever.

There are now hundreds of ways to advertise your business without bugging your friends or family and without even ever calling or personally visiting anyone. For example, there are websites that offer to advertise your network marketing program for you and you pay them about $3 for getting a visitor to come to your website and take your tour. Can you imagine if 20 years ago network marketers could have paid $3 to get people to come and listen to the presentations? Do you think they could have had better success? While the old systems relied heavily on your ability to get your friends and family to participate in the business, now many don’t even tell their friends and family about the business until they notice their nice new cars and finally ask how they can afford it.
